This is a great opportunity for both individuals and groups looking to help this holiday season.

Can I buy an extra t-shirt?
Why is there only a short-sleeved option for kids T-shirts?
We have found that most kids prefer short-sleeved shirts.
Are dogs/pets permitted?
We love your furry friend too but please leave dogs/pets at home. Participants have experienced unfortunate stumbles due to dogs crossing their paths. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Are strollers permitted?
Yes, but we ask that you start in the back to avoid injury to yourself, your child, and other participants. Note that we have a separate timed division for stroller participants.
Which run is the right one for me?
Remember, this is a five-MILE event, not a 5K (3.1 miles). If you’re uncomfortable with this distance, then we recommend that you do the one-mile walk/run. We encourage you to train and run appropriately and accordingly. This year’s event will have separate starts for timed, untimed, and the one-mile. We will divide by bib colors. Once in the appropriate area, line up according your pace. Look for the pace signs.
Can I walk the five-mile course?
Yes, but the course closes after two hours and the crews will begin picking up the barricades, so walk faster than a 24 minute/mile pace.
There will be checkpoints on the course that participants must reach by designated times. If the checkpoints are not reached in time, participants will be asked to move to the sidewalks as the roads will reopen behind them.
My child has never done a run. Can he/she participate in the Kids' K safely?
The Stepping Stone School Kids K starts at 8:45 a.m. (just before the five-mile run). This is a 1 kilometer run or 0.6 miles. We group kids according to age and send them off in waves so that bigger kids aren’t running over the little ones. Most children do run by themselves, but parents are certainly welcome to accompany their children. This event will only take about five minutes to complete. Every Kids’ K participant receives a finisher’s bracelet!
