Culturemap Austin recently published a story about 10 classic restaurants featuring fabulously weird works of art, and ThunderCloud was featured on their list. Writer Melissa Gaskill noted that ThunderCloud has decades of experience keeping it weird and highlighted the giant sub sandwiches atop many of our stores (Guadalupe, Ranch Road 620, 12th Street, and Highway 290, to name a few), as well as the groovy art inside our store at Burnet and Anderson: a giant yellow submarine cutout and “Where the Wild Things Are” mural.
