Emancipet’s Sit Stay Day is a popular Valentine’s Day-inspired fundraiser that lets pets and their humans stay in and enjoy homegrown Austin treats while raising money for pets in need, and it will return for its seventh year on Feb. 10.
For the third year, ThunderCloud Subs is a proud sponsor of this annual charity event, which helps Emancipet provide affordable, accessible spay/neuter services and veterinary care to pets in Central Texas and beyond. We choose to support Emancipet’s Sit Stay Day because four-legged companions make up a special part of our family at ThunderCloud, and we want to do our part to make sure people and their pets in every community get the care they need.
On Sit Stay Day, dozens of local businesses donate gourmet food and drink items, assorted pet treats for Austinites’ beloved four-legged companions, and other goodies that are assembled into 250 kits and delivered to homes and offices before Valentine’s Day—the perfect time to celebrate the love that pets bring to people’s lives. There are ThunderCloud Subs gift cards (among tons of other local products) in each of the kits, which make excellent gifts for friends, family members, coworkers, and spcial foodies or pet lovers in your life.
